Human+ Programme Fellowship Call

The HUMAN+ interdisciplinary fellowship program will select up to 18 researchers for two-year postdoctoral fellowships in the arts and humanities or computer science and engineering.

HUMAN+, supported by the European Commission Horizon 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND Action, is led by the Trinity Long Room Hub Arts and Humanities Research Institute and ADAPT, the Science Foundation Ireland Centre for Digital Content Innovation at Trinity College Dublin.

The goal of the program is to connect researchers in the engineering and computer sciences with those in social sciences and humanities to “forge a human-centric approach to technology development, allowing for interdisciplinary research integrating insights from the arts, humanities, and computer sciences as well as enterprise.”

Fellows will pursue projects with a distinct focus on human-centered approaches to technology development and the cycle between technology and human experience. They will also have the chance to build solutions in response to problems set by enterprise partners via the program’s Future Lab.
