Job: DH software developer at the University of Geneva

The University of Geneva’s Information and Communication Systems and Technologies Division is seeking a software developer/computer scientist to develop software tools in the field of digital humanities.

This is a one-year, full-time position based in Geneva, with a start date of September 1st, 2020. A computer science degree or equivalent is required. The position involves:

  • Developing software tools in the field of digital humanities to assist researchers in their data exploitation projects with new algorithms
  • Helping to migrate/structure researchers’ data to RDF format
  • Providing data visualization tools by exploiting the new inference possibilities offered by semantic networks.
