The next edition of the TransNum (Digital Transition) seminar series from the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po) will be held online on September 25th. The theme of the seminar will be ‘Un tournant numérique pour l’histoire économique ?’ (‘A digital turning point in economic history?’)

Experts from Sciences Po, Paris University and CNRS will examine the digital transition through the lens of economic history. Notably, the use (and disuse) of quantitative approaches will be discussed as a means to answer the questions: Is a new wave of quantification at work? Has economic history undergone a digital transformation?

This seminar will take place via Zoom. Please register here in advance.
