Enjeux et pratiques du numérique dans les institutions culturelles

The University of Lyon, the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon, and Jean Monnet University, in partnership with the University of Ottawa and Ingenium Canada, are organizing an online meeting, in French, on ‘Enjeux et pratiques du numérique dans les institutions culturelles: regards croisés’ (‘Digital issues and practices in cultural institutions: a crossroads of views’) within the framework of the 33rd edition of the Centre Jacques Cartier’s ‘Entretiens’ series.

The meeting will bring together institutions, companies in the digital sector, and academics from all over the world to bring new practical, prospective and critical perspectives to the transformation of practices in cultural institutions by technological advances in digitization. The event will be held in two parts:

15h-16h30 : La numérisation de collections et de corpus : pratiques, méthodes, enjeux (Digitization of collections and corpora: practices, methods, challenges)

16h30-18h : De la numérisation à la valorisation : usages et mutations (From digitization to valorization: uses and changes)

The online event is free to attend but registration is required. Please check the Centre Jacques Cartier website for registration details.
