Rory Critten is a professor of Medieval English at the University of Lausanne. His research into the multilingual culture of medieval England deploys digital means, for example, to quantify the appearance and novelty of French lexis in Middle English texts. Other interests include the developing interface of the Middle English Dictionary online and the visualisation of geographical and historical relationships between multilingual manuscript anthologies.
