Natalia Wawrzyniak is a PhD holder in Literary Studies from the University of Warsaw (2015) and a former doctoral fellow of the Foundation for Polish Science (2011-2014), with a significant experience in coordinating academic events and projects popularizing humanities research among different publics.

Her researches revolve around literary practices and genres that contributed to the development of the public sphere in France and Romandy in 15th-16th centuries. As a senior researcher in the SNSF-funded Medialiterature project, she is currently working in collaboration with PlaTec on a database documenting theatrical culture in the French-speaking regions of today’s Switzerland (15th-16th c.).

Her DH interests include data models for theater research, epistemology of digitized manuscripts and prints, and digital pedagogy.
