Call for papers: AIUCD 2021

The Italian Digital Humanities Association AIUCD (Associazione per l’Informatica Umanistica e la Cultura Digitale) is seeking talk and poster proposal submissions for its 10th conference, to be held in January, 2021.

The theme of the conference will be ‘DH for society: e-quality, participation, rights and values in the Digital Age’. The event will encourage study and reflection on the digital humanities as a privileged meeting place among different needs of contemporary society in research, politics, economics and everyday life, giving the humanist the role of interpreter and facilitator of change.

Proposals for talks and posters are currently being accepted that illustrate theoretical reflections on the digital humanities, methodological aspects, project experiences, experimental results, strategies for the enhancement of research infrastructures, ethical issues and position statements. Proposals on the following topics are particularly requested:

  • Digital public humanities
  • Open culture
  • Social networks
  • Tech-economy
  • e-participation
  • Assistive technologies for inclusion

The deadline for submitting proposals is October 2nd, 2020. Acceptance information will be communicated to the authors by November 13th. Proposals must follow this template, and be submitted in PDF format through the Easychair platform.
